OUR WORK ON THE COVER

Wonderful collaborative work on a Structure Guided Drug Development (SGDD) adventure leading to selective inhibitors against Trypanosma brucei methionyl-tRNA synthetase. 

The compounds need further optimization to cross the blood brain barrier (BBB) but are now in the low-nanomolar range after a huge team effort. 

I feel honored to have worked with such super talented group of medicinal chemists, parasitologists, computational and structural biologists from @UWMedicine, @UWBiochemistry and @PATHdrugdev.
